National Academy of Art School Japan Charity Art Show

I found out about this in a roundabout way, but am so glad that I did. It's a great cause, tied into donations to the Japan Society's Earthquake relief fund. The description of the motivation for the show, which will be held at 5 E 89th Street in Manhattan From March 30th through April 7th :

The devastation has made Japanese who live in New York City cry and think what we can do for Japan. Some Japanese artists based in New York City came up with the idea of doing a charity art show and donating all of the profits to earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan through the Japan Society in New York.

With the support of the National Academy, we are able to locate our charity show at the National Academy School student lounge, from March 30th to April 7th. The opening will be on Wednesday, March 30th, from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. With sincere appreciation, we would like to invite you all to participate in this very important exhibition with us. We will accept all donations from faculty and students.
